My client is based in Sandton and they are currently recruiting for an IT Systems Developer to join their growing team. The person must have a minimum of 6 years hands on experience. Hands on experience in Development and Design of new systems is a non-negotiable.

Purpose of the role:
They are looking for a Full Stack C# / .NET developer. The role would focus on current applications and websites, and includes the following responsibilities:

• Full Stack Developer


• Coding, testing and debugging applications according to business requirements


• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code


• Revise, update, refactor and debug code


• Analyse, diagnose and resolve errors related to applications


• Development of SQL stored procedures


• Testing of applications to ensure correctness


• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications


• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues


• Develop and update documentation throughout


• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

Skills / competencies and experience:
- 5 years + of hands-on experience in designing and developing .Net based solutions using VisualStudio and MVC architecture and entity framework.
- Must have rich experience in developing solutions using ASP.Net MVC, C#.NET, ASP.NET Core,ASP.NET Web API framework
- Must have hands-on experience in developing solutions using rich front-end technologies such asJavaScript, JQuery, HTML 5, CSS3, Material Design, Bootstrap RWD.
- Must have hands-on experience in using SQL Server 2016/2014/2008.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

Minimum requirements:
- Relevant diploma and or degree in IT
- Preferred MCSD
- Minimum of 5 years' experience
- Above average communication skill - written / verbal (technical and non-technical audience)
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable applications
- Ability to work towards timelines and deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and work in a team environment
- Ability to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions
- Ability to take on multiple assignments and plan and organize the work
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
